We have multiple Canon XA 15 cameras, as well as Canon Vixias and ample Monfrotto tripods. We also have zoom audio recorders and DJI gimbals, as well as lapel, boom, and goose neck mics.
When we send out equipment we send it with a case, batteries, a way to charge it, SDs cards, release forms, and headphones if you are dealing with audio.Bags will be checked upon being returned. Your equipment return date will be scheduled when you pick up the equipment. The office is closed on Fridays, so please plan accordingly.

If you are in our service area (Springfield, Chester, and Weathersfield), or if you are a member, signing out equipment is FREE!! If not, or if we cannot air your content because it is personal like a wedding, or used strictly for work, then we will charge you a small rental fee. Click here for more details and pricing.

We require you to go through a basic training of our equipment before signing anything out. You can schedule an appointment with us to train you in person, and a virtual version will be coming to the website soon. Everyone has to fill out a handbook (which will be available online soon) and a release form. We have physical copies of all forms at the office.
Event Coverage
Have an event you want livestreamed or recorded? Let us know! We will see if we have a videographer available, equipment to send to you, or if we need more information to plan. We require two weeks’ notice to schedule event coverage.
About Our Studio and Control Booth

The studio can have relaxed seating and a low table, a newscaster desk with tall chairs, or if you have your own furniture we can work something out. The studio has trusses with full lighting and an optional greenscreen that spans an entire wall.

The studio has two PTZ cameras (meaning we can zoom and move them remotely from the control booth) and one stationary center cam. There are also two large mobile monitors for any presentations or static images like logos, and one additional monitor on the front of the newscaster desk.
Audio for standard studio shows consists of a boom mic in the room, individual lapel mics, and backup camera mics. Though we do have heavy duty mics and stands to do musical recordings for smaller bands and musicians. If you have something specific in mind we recommend scheduling a tour to look at our equipment and figure out what fits your needs.
All cameras and mics are controlled in the control room, via a live editing system called “VMix”. -
When you schedule your own show, we block out time to control it all from the control booth for you. We make sure the equipment is set up and running properly, and as we record we choose what cameras are showing so we are able to “live edit” your project.
This means when you’re done, we stop recording and multiple angles are already integrated in the footage so we are able to quickly turn it around and have it processed for tv. -
When you create a tv show in our studio we help produce, but we do not edit in post for you. We can help you learn how to edit it if you’d like, otherwise we stick with the live edit version that was captured during recording.
We then ask you to sign this release form so we have the rights to post it to our tv station and social media.
If you would like your programming to be syndicated (meaning other tv stations can download your content and show it on their stations as well) you can fill out this form.

1) Tell us your idea
What is the content of the show you’re creating?
Will it happen more than once?
If so, how often do you want to film your program?
How long will each episode be?
How many people will be in the studio with you?
What kind of physical space setup do you envision?
2) See the space and plan
Meet with us and see the actual physical space so we can brainstorm together and answer questions outlined in step one. This is when we’ll plan when and what to film and who will be doing what steps.
3) Film!
Do the thing! We’ll set things up, record, and process your program. If you want it edited we can show you how to edit your own program.
About Our Editing Stations

We have four iMac editing computers available with ample internal and external storage (as well as the cloud) so you can transfer your projects as needed or schedule ahead to have the same editing station you usually work on.

All editing stations have the full Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and more.

We will be making online training courses available for you to learn at your own pace. We can also schedule ahead of time to be available for one-on-one editing training, or for specific editing questions while you’re working at your station.

If you are a member, or are in our service area (Springfield, Chester, and Weathersfield), editing stations are free to use. You just need to schedule ahead of time.
Editing station hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am-4pm.

Outdoor Venues
Join us for our outdoor venues for events like Rock In the Lot with full bands and food trucks joining us in the parking lot, as well as smaller musical gatherings in our back patio area.
